A domain is deactivated (removed from the root zone, put on "hold") at day
0 - when the domain expires. At 40 days past expiry, the domain is
deleted. If you renew the domain within this period, it will typically
start resolving the next time to root zone servers update (to be safe,
24-48 hours)
