The rules for PST in Saskatchewan changed around March 30 of 2000, at
which point we had to start charging PST on hosting, domains, etc., as
these were considered "services" (I actually talked to a finance rep on
this when the bulletin came out). A month or so later, advertising became
PST taxable here as well.. Which covered just about everything ELSE we
sell that wasn't already provincially taxable :-)
I'm not sure what the deal is in Ontario, which is I think where you are,
but, if nobody else on this list volunteers information, you can always
talk to your provincial finance office for tax info (and I'm sure they
have a web site).
