Is it possible to have multiple logical nameservers at the same physical
nameserver location if these are in different TLDs?

I have a customer who is trying to register the following nameservers
(names and IP addresses tweaked to protect the guilty) and is having
problems doing so.

ns1.mydomain.co.uk 209.10.10.1
ns2.mydomain.co.uk 209.10.10.2

ns1.mydomain.com 209.10.10.1
ns2.mydomain.com 209.10.10.2

I'm not sure this is even legal.
