This, unfortunately, is changing. Since the advent of DSL and other
consumer broadband systems, many plain-jane users are throwing up a
Windows box and hosting their own site. In fact, many are running hosting
companies! Oddly enough, it seems that most of these people are not smart
enough to run Unix -- as soon as you know how to manage a Unix box, you
know why it would be a Bad Idea to host your own site on a consumer
broadband connection...
