There is at least one registrar out there selling .cc for below our
cost, and then charging $50 for renewals or transfers. You might want to
verify that the registrar your client is looking at is not playing this
type of game.
There are registrars and resellers selling almost every domain at less
than our wholesale costs though. If you believe you have to compete only
on price, you'll lose.
I regularly get people asking me to sell them .com domains for $9. Yeah,
right.

If I am not mistaken the .CC promotion is over. However, I may be
loosing a past .cc customer to the V people because they are still
