.US domain restrictions

Hello,

We are interested in offering .us domain names, even though we are a
Canadian company. We do have a fairly large number of US clients (maybe
20%). Most of our clients also host their websites hosted with us and I
noticed a requirement that the nameservers must be US. However, I wasn't
sure exactly what that meant. We do have a leased server in the US which
has it's own nameservers there, however, we administer them from Canada. If
I placed the US clients on that machine instead of a local one, would we
qualify to register .us domains for US clients if they met the other
requirements?

Thanks,

Heather
