I don't see anything about hosting or nameservers to be in the U.S. The
only requirements are that the *registrant* meet one of the nexus
requirements.
In fact your Canadian based company probably meets nexus category 3, i.e.
regularly sells goods in the United States; regularly provides services in
the United States; regularly engages in business activities, trade or
other business (commercial or non-commercial including not-for-profit)
relations in the United States.
