Actually, it shouldn't show as simply "rr.com" in his monitor or logs if it were one of their subscribers.
It should show as something like detriot-64-209-21-87.rr.com, or the as the namespace that the user was within, shouldn't it?
My understanding is that it would only show as rr.com if the IP resolved back directly to that name space. But maybe not.

Actually, it's much more likely that this is a cable-modem
user from home (or small office) rather than the corporate
muckety mucks from Road Runner.
