I received one today from verisign. The sales letter looked like an
invoice. My first thought was "oh no, everything's been sold and it now
costs $30.00 bucks a year for a domain? ick!" but then I did some
digging and inside verisign put a little piece of paper that doesn't
automatically get pulled from the envelope unless you really look kind
of saying that it is not an invoice.

this is mail fraud. i know in some states you can sue telemarketers, can
you sue for mail fraud?
