There are diff files included with new client codes that assist with the
updating of the client code. Another alternative is the SourceForge client
base (http://sourceforge.net/opensrs-sf/) which is much easier to upgrade.
We're currently still in "landrush/queuing" mode and will be announcing when
we're ready for full live. Functionally this should not be different
(queuing vs. live) so preparing yourself for live should suffice :)

Chuck,
I started out at 2.5.1 (obviously a relative newbie). However, I added
some of our own code for some dynamic "events" to the original OpenSRS code.
I just printed out the patch file in the diffs directory and was about to go
through them to see what I needed to update to push 2.5.1 to 2.5.3 to
support the new .us stuff.
Is there an easier way to do this that I'm overlooking?
Is the .us stuff moved on beyond "preregistration" now or is that still
going on until the landrush is "over"?
Thanks,
Karyn

API documentation is coming out shortly (just finished, publishing it to
the site now)
The other guides are superfluous, since nothing has changed for .us
registrations (just server side logic) since the last upgrade. These will
be updated soon.

Okay... WHERE is the 2.53 upgrade guide? All I could find is the 2.52
and a broken generic "Upgrade Guide".
