I'm guessing that it is a .us domain?
All .us domains we've registered (2 year term) are the same way -- the
expiration time is 23:59:59 and date is one day earlier than one would expect.
For example:
Domain Registration Date: Fri Apr 26 15:43:26 GMT 2002
Domain Expiration Date: Sun Apr 25 23:59:59 GMT 2004
Looks like it's a "feature" of the .us registry.
