Do you have any statistics on reply-to with mailing lists?
None of the mailing lists I'm on set reply-to. It is a big leap from
"in my personal experience" to "de facto standard", however. Clearly
any one person is only subscribed to a microscopic subset of all
"mailing lists". Based on my limited evidence I can't disprove your
claim. What evidence did you use to make your claim?
