I personally do not see any danger from Enom or similar registrar.
But I had also submitted (parallel) a few important domains during LR2
to Parava auction (with one success).
Yesterday I got the email that the domain is managed at
www.10-domains.com
They offer a very agreable management interface for customers,
yesterday I got very good and quick support.
Pricing is $10 and below.
So concerning the 'normal' customer this might be a really competitor for us.
I stay with Tucows because of this list, the lock option, the RWI and Tucows
support.
But the 'normal' customer, just comparing prices and service, he
might quit Tucows resellers to such types of registrars.
I think this is much more dangerous then some spectaculous offers like Enom
does.
