Why would it fail? If it is not available then the system would not
let you pre-register it.. We will auth the card prior to approving the
registration, (I assume this is what you are talking about above)...
Never had a problem doing this as a manual process so long as you do
not wait days to run the card and approve the domain.

In cases where you need to run a return credit, just run the credit...
We do this most offten for failed transfers.
