Please consider it a feature request to be able to delete a domain name
"just because the registrant wants to". There are lots of reasons they
might, including discovering a trademark, or just plain not wanting to be
associated with it any more. We all realize bogus contact information is
not allowed, but it would be nice if there was an alternative.

I guess one legal option for the original poster would be to transfer the
domain name to another registrar who does allow deletions for any reason,
and then deleting it. If it's worth $10 or so to get rid of the domain,
that's always an option. If you want the name of a registrar who allows
easy deletions, contact me off list.
