To defend myself, the following was one of the definitions provided
at http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=UTC

    UTC
    n : Greenwich Mean Time updated with leap seconds
    [syn: universal time coordinated, UTC]

See, I didn't just make it up. ;)

(Coordinated Universal Time was also provided as the primary
definition).
