.Ca Expiration Date wrong?

I had a .Ca transferred in, and it is still showing in the RWI as about to be deleted by the registry. Yet, the who-is shows it is not expiring for 12 month (Dec of 2003) Can some one shed some light on this? I think I know what has happened, but it appears the SRS system is taking a long time to catch it....
