On a side note...
Maybe their records aren't entirely in sync or those values aren't the
ones being used?
I see one domain that has:
Record expires on 04-Sep-2002
Yet is in REGISTRAR-HOLD and shows:
Expiration Date: 02-sep-2003
Is there some other database or data they might be using? I also see
this on another domain - does this mean the hold period is actually a
YEAR?
