Actually NO, my Investors are just a bunch of multi-millionaires,
looking for new and creative ways of making more money then
the too low interest rates banks are paying. The do not invest in
my company, as we are debt free, and completely self maintained.
We are a Business Trust too, so we have more protection from a
corporation, and don't have "stock" rather Certificates of Beneficial
Interest, which give the bearers NO say in the company.
My point is that OpenSRS is the ONLY company I have trusted,
and if they allow Register.com to take over, I will simply take the
opportunity to start a service comparable to what OpenSRS has.
I don't want to, that would mean starting a whole new division,
but I do have investors I could "recruit" to back it up. Of course
I don't know that they would jump on it, but with the internet still
growing as it is, and with banks raping the people with the gold,
they are always looking for other places to invest, and for more
tax write off's, which a company of this magnitude could provide
both.
Yeah, I'm probably not as old as you, I'm only 28 and have been
operating this business since I was 18, so that only gives me 10
years of business experience, but I have a good thing going, and
am completely private, not open to public scrutiny. I would sell
out if the price was right, however, I'm not one that is looking
out only for the almighty dollar, so my customers would take
FIRST place. If the company trying to buy me out was as bad
as Register.com I don't care how much they offer, I am not a
slut, and would not just jump into bed with any company. I'm
VERY loyal to my customers and the reward me with their
loyalty.
That is all I'm talking about.
