Hi Adam,
We don't offer .cc premium names. These names are handled directly by a
branch of the registry which whom we do not have a primary relationship.
I believe, technologically speaking, Verisign couldn't offer it through
their RRP implementation of .cc (middle man to the eNIC
registry) so Tucows could only get "normal" names.
Hope this helps,
James

Subject: .CC Premium Names
I tried to register a .CC domain. Whois shows no record found, but when
I tried to register it I got "Domain taken."
Then I went to http://www.enic.cc and checked the domain, and I got the
following:
".cc premium names are generic words and phrases, and one-, two-, and
three-character domain names that are registered at prices higher than
the standard $50 annual fee."
Is it possible to register .cc premium domains w/ OpenSRS, or only
through eNic (Verisign). I thoroughly dislike having a domain tied to a
particular registrar, especially Versign.
Adam
