getting DROA to unlock a domain name?

Has anyone had any luck getting a domain name with droa.com (Domain Registry of America)
unlocked? A client fell for some of their scam invoices. The transfer was not approved
but DROA was able to push it through. While we now have the password to access their
domain management features online, there does not appear to be a way to unlock the
domain name so it can be transferred back. DROA has not yet responded to any email
inquiries on getting the domains unlocked.
Any hints would be appreciated.
