Our experience is that most people register for one or two years
regardless of the discount we offer for 5 and 10 year registration.
Most 10 year registrations are done with stolen credit cards.
apart from one customer we have who incorporates companies, buys the
matching domain for 10 years
and sits on them for 5 years so they have a credit record, before selling
them
to people starting up businesses.
Its an interesting business idea, domain and company name and cresit rating
all in one package.
