Hi,
If Register.com is buying Tucows (which neither party would/should
comment on, until a deal is done, if it is indeed a possibility), I
hope that:
1. they're keeping a team in Toronto for tech support (Register.com's
support is retail-oriented, and not as good as Tucows', in my opinion).
2. keep legal jurisdiction for our domain contracts in Toronto (just
requires keeping an active 2nd registrar license, i.e. making Tucows a
wholly owned company, if need be).

Of course, Register.com could always be thinking of buying NSI, if
Verisign is ready to get out of the retail space, to focus on
wholesale.
