In the period of time that I have been at Tucows, the rumor mill has
periodically conjured up theories about who is buying whom. This is just
the latest twist in an ongoing trend. I think that the situation is best
summed up by the comment by Chris below.

Oh lord, this is how runmors start. Someone posted an SEC type disclosure
that someone, somewhere is makeing an offer to be bought by register.com .
