Re: If Register.com is buying Tucows....

Hi Robert, Near end of Summer 2003

I disagree that an Opensrs reseller mentioning another Registrar on
this list is inappropriate in this particular context.

In the context of a rumour surfacing about a possible buyout, i am
wondering where i would shift to if i didn't like the new management.

While i'm a Big fan of Opensrs and many of it's employees/management,
things can change and can change fast.

While Elliot has his reasons for not commenting about rumours, i
personally would prefer a clear
and definitive "no, we are not in discussions to sell Opensrs", if in
fact this is the case.

In the meantime, without a quashing of the rumour, i have it in the
back of my head, that yes, a sale may occur and i need to cover my
own ass if it does. It is obvious others here on this list are
thinking the same way.

In the meantime, i plan to happily remain with Opensrs and look
forward to the government of Canada decriminalizing Marijuana. I
then look forward to the possibility of the Supreme Court of Canada
kicking our government's butt and Legalizing it.

Yes, i digress, but it is Friday night.

The warm and sweet summer air reveals.

Y'all have a Great and Safe weekend.
