Re: If Register.com is buying Tucows....

[we interrupt this vacation to say]

In fact my reasoning is intended to and does (I think) suggest that the
comments you describe would be inappropriate. If it doesn't it should.

That being said, please review my comments, already posted on the list,
that I made on the last conference call. I am moved to make this
comment by the fact that I don't want Beth spending her long weekend
doing anything but relaxing!

Everyone, there is one thing I can't stress enough. EVERY company in
this industry and in technology more broadly is regularly in
discussions with other companies. Us, or any of our competitors who you
might choose to look at. It has been that way since I have been running
Tucows (in other words early 1997) and I am still here and we still
stand for the same things. THAT is the most salient point and the one
you should take away. I understand very well what is important to you
all and they are generally the same things that are important to me and
the things that I always want any company that I am running to stand
for.

Nothing to see here. Please move on. Oh and people rarely take
vacations in the middle of heated negotiations.

Regards

[return to vacation]
