MessageYes, Geotrust supports IIS 6.

They have updated their webserver list to not be version dependent (but they
will accept old entries if submitted)
Then it makes the list much less likely to change.

So, IIS is accurate.

And btw. this webserver list is used for support purposes only (not cert
generation) so if you get caught in a situation that
means you can't submit the webserver type you would like, choose other, and
it will still be successful.
This list is to help with support requests they may receive from you.

As far as the tar.gz question, I'll ask dev to confirm, but from what I
remember in the past, that is correct.

Subject: IIS 6 Certificate question and 2.78 client errors

Is IIS6 supported by GeoTrust, IIS4 and IIS5 are specifically and simply
IIS was added in th 2.77 release, was this meant to be IIS6 ?

The 2.78 client changelog is commented as version 2.88 it also downloads
as tar.tar not tar.gz (I'm sure we have seen this once or twice before and I
know I just need to rename it to tar.gz)
