Greetings,

Pursuant to your company's arrogant and ill-advised typosquatting
campaign for the .net and .com domains, I have a question about your
"terms of use":

>Sole Remedy.
>YOUR USE OF THE VERISIGN SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF YOU ARE
>DISSATISFIED WITH ANY OF THE MATERIALS, RESULTS OR OTHER CONTENTS OF THE
>VERISIGN SERVICES OR WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, OUR PRIVACY
>STATEMENT, OR OTHER POLICIES, YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USE OF
>THE VERISIGN SERVICES OR OUR SITE.

Since I did not elect to have my traffic intercepted by Verisign in the
first place, how do you suggest that I discontinue use of your services?
It appears that my only option is to discontinue use of the internet.

Is Verisign so self-important and dim-witted as to believe it owns the
internet?

Perhaps I should have copied this to mlarson as well. I did, however, write him a personal message last night enquiring as to whether the entire Verisign staff are collectively smoking crack. (I have not as yet had any reply.)
