.org and domain lock -- compatible?

Hi,

For maximum protection of our domains, will "Domain Lock" still work
with .org? It seems the lock status is kept, through the migration, but
does use of the EPP Authentication Code over-ride this, if someone
initiates a transfer from another registrar and has the code somehow?
