It's not a javascript disabled problem. I've got javascript enabled and
still get that message. I do not allow unsolicated popups (i.e. popups
that I did not specifically click a link to open), which is what they are
trying to do here.
If I use a security hole infested browser (i.e. IE) I *still* get that
page plus a popup window. This new "helpcenter" is going to confuse more
people than it helps...
It is very bad practice to open a new window without user permission and
this will definitely give Tucows and the resellers they are trying to
help a bad name. If they *really* want to open their own window (which I
do not see any reason for), they should remove the BODY UNLOAD and put the
popup in an A HREF that the user can select if they choose to.
But I'll say it again, I see absolutely no good reason for opening a new
window.
