As an aside, does anyone know if virii/worms like Sobig, etc. that use
their own SMTP server would be thwarted if Sympatico forced
authentication on their SMTP servers?
Authenticated SMTP (with SSL too!) seems to me like a no-brainer for
ISPs. Why Sympatico doesn't implement it is beyond me.
