I have been doing a LOT of typewriting before computers were used for this
and I also read a LOT of letters and faxes from US American and other
worldwide suppliers in that time. And they either used NO space (the few
people with no secretary and no knowledge about typewriting conventions)
or ONE space (typewriting convention). I've never heard anyone advocating
TWO spaces. Actually, it's obvious that the two spaces in the discussed
text are an accident if you just look at other full stops.
