Not necessarily.
We use do-not-reply address on a lot of our communication which contains
links to the appropriate forms
which should be used to contact us.
One of the main reasons for htis is bouncing mail.
If we send out 500 renewal notices and 40% of them bounce we would have a
lot of mail coming back into a live address and it would be quite
unmanageable.
It also stops customers sending support requests by replying to their
welcome email.
If we allowed that it would bypass our entire helpdesk system
and we could not run a business with over 20,000 customers based on email
just being sent in.
Issues would be un-trackable.
