Maybe I'm missing something, but what is the value of whois via Tucow's web
site as opposed to whois from anywhere else ?
In my mind whois is a basic command runnable by anyone, like telnet, ftp,
finger, WAIS[1], etc. It's built into every version of Unix. If it doesn't
come with Windows, has anyone tried using Tucows OTHER service to look for a
whois client ? Or, one of the MANY whois web gateways out there , like
http://whois.bw.org/ -- or download his perl code and have your own command
line tool or web gateway.

1) OK, does anyone other than me actually remember WAIS ?
