Do you mean you received a "please approve this transfer" sort of message
from Network Solutions (in which case nothing will happen if you simply
ignore it), or was it an actual transfer-in-progress notification from
OpenSRS?

If it's the former, I can't see that it's ever harmful, although it's
certainly annoying. If you want revenge, take comfort in the fact that
person has probably already paid NSI $35 and is unlikely to be able to
get it back without spending hours on the phone.

If it's the latter, it is potentially harmful, and something is seriously
wrong with the system NSI is using to approve transfers -- that needs to
be brought to someone's attention if that's the case.
