Just wondering if the Email Defense service will work with an Exchange 2003
server using straight SMTP.
I configured my console to talk to an Exchange 2003 box on port 25 thru
SMTP but got "unknown user"
When I set the MX record on the domain that I used for testing to point
directly thru to the test Exchange box, I got delivery just fine.
The email account I was testing with was not a "user" in the Email Defense
portal system. It was my understanding that all users did not have to be
part of the system, ie: you could be selective on which users you were
providing the filtering service too.
Any information on using the Email Defense system with Exchange would be
appreciated.
