I'm not seeing this problem. Our custom hostname for the admin stays in
the address bar.

The admin login/logout pages still show this even if you remove it in
the reseller settings. Other admin pages as well as user pages using
your admin hostname don't show it if you remove it.

You have to provide a signup URL that has your admin hostname. e.g.:
http://blogadmin.example.com/users/index.cgi/cmd=signup
