Hi Scott,

Anti-virus without spam filtering is something that I'm considering as it is
possible for us to do, we just need to implement it on the provisioning
side. It's really a question of how much interest there is in antivirus
only as a feature? I'd be very interested in your opinions - please send me
an email if interested and I'd be happy to talk.

Regarding RAV, it will be replaced at the beginning of September. We're
working on the new solution right now (can't reveal who quite yet).

Feel free to contact me directly (phone or email) if you have any other
thoughts regarding the services.

Thanks,
Bruce

Subject: Questions on Anti-virus Options

This is mostly direct at Tucows, but others may be interested in the
answers:

Is there any chance that the pricing/packaging of Email Defense will change
to allow selection of only virus-filtering (i.e., without spam-filtering) at
a cost of $0.15 per user/per month?

Also, do you have plans to replace the RAV anti-virus filtering for the
email mailbox services with another vendor when they finally discontinue
their anti-virus service?

Thanks.
