No, you don't. If I would get 9 for free right after each ten sold I
wouldn't have a problem with that, not at all.
See my example in the other mail. It's a "self-killing" promotion. If it
became a success you would have to kill it early on because of the huge
expenses rolling over you.

That's not the point here. Either you want to be that promotion a success
or not. With this rebate approach you just kill a possible success right
before it began. The core problem is that you still need to have $10 for
each sale in your account and this for a long time. With the current
system there happens only one thing: nobody does a promotion and every
reseller sacks in the $9 quietly as an extra profit.
