REGISTRAR-HOLD status

Hi all,

We have been asked to transfer in some domains which are currently on
REGISTRAR-HOLD status.

I understand this normally means that the registrar is holding the
domain after the expiry date and waiting for payment from the owner.

However in this case the company has gone bankrupt and there are no
means of contacting them. This is one of several domains which have
suffered the same fate, the rest need NS/IPS changes to bring them
across. Of course the now bankrupt company have registered them all with
themselves as the administrative contact; the ownership has been
correctly done though.

What would be the best way to proceed here?

Any advice appreciated

Nick
