Hi Benno,

You are referring to the Form of Authorization (FOA) that is sent to the
admin contact in order to accept or decline a transfer request. Based on
our interpretation of the ICANN policy (http://www.icann.org/transfers/), we
implemented the solution based on the registrar information only.

We do understand that this may cause some confusion for registrants. ICANN
has indicated a 3, 6 and 12 month review of the transfer policy and this is
one of the items that we intend to raise during these reviews to try and put
in place a little more flexibility for the Tucows reseller model.

Thanks,

Subject: Transfer messages do not contain our name

Hi,

Since the new transfer policy has been implemented, the new transfer
request e-mails do not mention anything about us anymore. How is our
customer supposed to know his or her domain is going to be transferred
to us. It only states it will be transferred to Tucows.
