There are a number of things being discussed. The primary was the lack of
anyone available to even start looking at it on an emergency basis over the
weekend. Another is the fact that the original registrar dosn't seem to have
a record of the domain transfering out at this point. It will be interesting
to see what did happen, if it was a regular case of fraud or some kind of
hack.
One of your comments that was forwarded to Nanog seemed to indicate you
didn't see a problem at all, as in the domain hadn't moved. Maybe your DNS
hadn't refreshed it's cache yet, but not even alowing for that possibilty
was what I thought of as "cranky".
In any case, I think it would be prudent for people to keep an eye on their
domains for the next few days, in case there is some vulnerability being
explited, at least until there are some real answers.
