Phorum allows you to receive posts via email as an option...if there's
enough demand, we could implement some sort of a gateway - or one of you
could.

We're using Papercut as the NNTP gateway to Phorum and are in the
process of rewriting a sizeable portion of it to support our upgrade to
Phorum 5. This is a known issue and should be fixed early this week. If
you are using the Phorum interface, you will see appropriate threading.
