I agree with Hugh - I'm on the road often, but will read threads on my
Blackberry - I don't think I can access a forum from my Blackberry & I don't
think I would take the time to visit, read through forums to see if there's
something that interests me.

This I'd accept. As said before, I want my communications filtered to
the right folder in my email client. Of all the options this works best
for me. Yes, I read and participate in some forums but never as much as
mail lists. Someone mentioned that access to a forum would be easier
than using a mail list if you're not at your 'home' computer. Wrong. I
can access my emails from any web-connected source 24/7 - and easier
than a forum.
