While this issue is important, and its possible that the name was logged and someone used that info,
i will briefly say that i registered a name weeks ago using the speedy OpenSRS system. It just so happened that someone else tried to register that name at the "same" time. I happened to be lucky enough to actually register it first. (the other person wrote me a very unhappy note.) Remember, their are 150,000,000 people ( i think) who have access to the internet.

Collective unconcious/concious is at work here as well.
